Clarification for Credit Card Payments

From Jeff Hall:
1.   We accept payment from any person presenting a Visa, Master or Discover credit card.   Any issues with fraud will be handled by the owner of the credit card and the bank.
2. Payments by credit card for lost books, fines and Inter library loans MUST be made to the account of the individual who accrued the charges not a service desk.  Charges for copies, computer use, faxes, Friends sales and drinks MAY be made to and paid to a service desk.  Be sure to write the card number of either the borrower or the service desk on the slip that is attached to the signature receipt.
Please see your supervisor with any questions.

Blue Report Folder for RFM/ILL Forms

There is now a blue report holder in the file at Circulation that contains all the updated information, flow charts, receipt samples etc. on taking Requests for Materials & ILL requests. The folder also contains the blank RFM/ILL forms to fill out when taking a request.  Please familiarize yourselves with the new forms and procedures if you have not yet done so.

Minimum for Checks

Is there a minimum amount for checks?
Per Pam Nance, $2.00.
RPL accepts checks but they must be for $2.00 or more.
Credit card payments also require a $2.00 minimum.
